What happens to the address you scan
Nymra is a privacy tool, so this page says exactly what happens when you use it. Short version: the scan runs in your browser. The public explorers it asks see the address, together with your IP address. Our relay steps in when they are too busy, and for chains whose explorer needs a key; it logs nothing.

The scan runs in your browser
When you scan an address, this page asks public block explorers (Blockscout and Routescan) and public RPC nodes for its history. Your browser asks these services itself, so each of them sees your IP address together with the address you scan, and their own privacy policies apply. A request that goes through our relay (below) reaches them from our server instead, and the relay keeps no log. Use a VPN if that matters to you. The score and the findings are computed in your browser; Nymra never receives the result. In the address bar the wallet sits after a # (/terminal/#q=), the part of a link a browser never sends to a server, so opening or reloading a scan link does not tell this site which wallet you look at.
The relay
Two things send a request through our relay at /p on this site instead of straight to an explorer: the explorer refuses your browser (a rate limit, or a bot check), or the chain's explorer needs an API key, as for BNB Smart Chain and Linea. That key lives in the relay, never in the page. The relay passes the request to the explorer and hands back the answer, so for those requests it sees the address too. It writes no log: no address, no IP address, no URL. It forwards only to the explorers and nodes in the open chain list, nowhere else. The Terminal marks every chain it read this way with via relay.
ENS names
When you type a name such as name.eth, your browser asks a public Ethereum RPC node and Blockscout's ENS service which address it points to.
Connect wallet
Connecting a wallet only asks it for your address, to fill in the field. Nymra never asks for a signature, a transaction or a token approval, and does not store the address.
What Nymra does not do
- No account and no sign-in.
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no ads.
- No third-party scripts, and no fonts from Google: everything is served from this site.
- No scan history. Close the tab and the result is gone.
- Never a seed phrase or a private key. Paste one into the scan field and the field empties at once; nothing is sent.
Sharing a result
The share image and the link are made in your browser. Both leave the address out unless you tick the box. With it ticked, the address is on the card and in the link (after the #), and anyone who sees the card or opens the link can see that wallet.
Hosting
The site is a set of static files on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare handles the traffic to deliver the pages. Nymra has not turned on analytics or request logs there.
